Introduction

For one of our clients, a well-known private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a : 

Back-Office Settlement

Permanent contract - 80% - 100%

Description de la mission

  • Oversee and supervise the booking of CCP, domestic, SEPA, and international wire payments for TCF and Corporate customers, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures, controls, and cut-off times.
  • Handle the booking of FX transactions (spot, forward, swap) and money market deals for customers and internal transactions, following established procedures, controls, and cut-offs.
  • Strictly adhere to internal policies, compliance rules, risk management policies, and group standards in a complex technical environment.
  • Act as a backup for BOS Employees during absences, performing all department-related operations as required by the Head of BOS.
  • Input and validate complex departmental activities, ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with applicable policies and controls.
  • Immediately report any operational issues to the Head of BOS or Deputy.
  • Proactively identify and report IT deficiencies, suggesting process improvements.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and contribute to audit and control campaigns by demonstrating processes, collecting evidence, and engaging in clarification discussions.


Profil attendu

  • In-depth knowledge of banking activities including payment schemes (serial/cover) and channels (domestic, international, correspondent banking).
  • Proficiency in FX transactions (spot, forward, swap) and treasury operations.
  • Expertise in relevant SWIFT messages (MT101, MT103, MT200, MT202, MT202 COV, MT300, MT320, MT191, MT940, MT950) and their XML equivalents.
  • Knowledge of SIC messages (pacs.008, pacs.009, D10).
  • Strong skills in office products (Outlook, Excel).
  • Additional knowledge of XML (ISO20022), SharePoint, Power Automate, and programming is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both French and English is essential.
